Cariema Seva Sadan is a small NGO functioning in Birbhum district, near ‘Shantiniketan’, West Bengal.
This NGO has begun its work by opening a small night school at Suri railway station for child labours, child beggars and child hawkers. Poor parents can utilize “Drop–In–Center” where children are given a non-formal education and later are assisted in getting admission in formal schools after achieving standard levels.
Birbhum Titli is focused on making these children literate and cultured. Some of the boys were even addicted to Khaini, pan masala or even to liquor in some form or other. Birbhum Titli helps them to get rid of these bad habbits and to give them primary education.
Established in the year 2005 – this NGO has completed nearly 5 years of dedicated service to the society. Such selfless service is only possible with the enthusiasm and dedication of its founders Anant Pal and members like Swapanda. Krishnadi, Sanju, Somnath, Sumant and many others.
